"Dan-guerzé Mask, Guinea Or Ivory Coast"
Facial mask presenting a face with prominent cheekbones. The eyes are pierced with small circular holes making his gaze hypnotic. The remains of vegetable resin around them suggests that they must have been surrounded by metal washers, as is often the case.Wood with a very nice brown patina from use. Small lack at the back and slit at the attachment holes.
