"Childhood"
Very beautiful pastel from the Empire period around 1810 representing a child in an interior, basin, paper casserole, guitar, cart, forgetting it above his head helmet and rifle announcing a military future to this very young boy dressed in a tunic.Our pastel is very close to the work of Baron Gros, one of the precursors of the pre-Romantic period.
