"“ Allegory Of Time”. Vanity. Gouache On Vellum. Italy XVIIIth."

Gouache on vellum depicting an Allegory of Time. 18th century. Italy. A winged old man, a scythe on his shoulder and an hourglass on his head bears two crests surmounted by the inscriptions Fedete (faithful) and Costante (constant). Bottom left three skulls or "vanities" rest in a niche. A final Immutabile (immutable) inscription surrounds a monogram, a signature and a date (to be deciphered).
On the back, a wax seal.
Good condition.
