Nice painting representing a view of Luceram, a charming medieval village located in the Alpes Maritimes department near Nice. Our oil on cardboard was made by Louis Jacques Vigon called "le Vigon" . Born in Nice in 1897, Provençal painter, he often painted his native Provence, Corsica, but also Normandy. He often used the knife, this technique allowing him to give more relief and depth to his landscapes. Our painting is signed lower left and is sold with its original frame. Annotation on the back of the painting by the artist (see last photo).
