"Property Buffet In Oak, Louis-philippe Style - Late Nineteenth"
Property furniture entirely in solid oak and generously carved. It opens with a door provided with a lock in working order accompanied by its key. This facade, as well as the rounded sides of this piece of furniture, present important carved decorations. The recessed frames are molded like a policeman's hat at the top, and decorated with foliage, scrolls and flower motifs in the upper corners. The interior of this piece of furniture is fitted with a shelf resting on fixed cleats. As a belt, it opens with three drawers with scalloped wooden buttons and shell decorations. The two lateral ones are in hopper. The two pilasters are also topped with carved scraps. The top of this piece of furniture is molded in corbin beak with a groove around its perimeter. The whole rests on an overflowing plinth, animated in the lower part, molded on the edge and the top, and decorated with shells and foliage. This unique piece is a real work of cabinetmaking due to the meticulousness of its ornamentation. Its buyers will be conquered.
