"Louis XV Slope Desk In Rosewood From The Eighteenth Century."
A mid-Louis XV period desk in rosewood and mahogany marquetry for the interior. It opens on the front with a flap revealing four curved drawers and in the middle a sliding panel revealing a secret surmounted by a fretted shelf. Two drawers in a row open under the flap. It rests on four curved legs ending in bronze clogs. The depth with the flap open is 74 cm. Beautiful proportions for this small piece of furniture. Very good condition, leather from later period. W/D/H: 68.5 X 42.5 X 87 cm. Height of the open flap: 67 cm.
