"Pair Of Andirons "
Two bronze andirons representing a soldier and a beggar, possibly Alexander the Great and Diogenes. One depicts a soldier with a Macedonian helmet, cuirass and shield. The other is a man dressed in a lion's skin, a knitted cap and slave armbands.

Condition Report : In good condition. Some scratches to the right forearm of the soldier. Bronze rework to the soldier's thigh and foot.
