"Heraldic Table Kettle, Embossed Brass, Early 19th"
Pot-bellied prestige kettle, richness of embossed decoration, on one side a well-centered rose window, on the other a large coat of arms surmounted by a helmet, presented by two confronting lions. Kettle has a flat bottom, (dovetail) mounted with a partly engraved bent spout, an articulated upper handle, with beautiful curves. Unengraved lid, with flat knob.Work from the North, France or Belgium, perhaps Dinand, (brassware) circa 1800/1830.
Good condition, no flaws, a lot of internal limestone, it holds water, and deserves to be cleaned.
