Born in 1912 in Bialystok in Poland and died in 1981. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow where he teaches drawing from 1935. His beginnings in painting are reflected in a strong influence of Polish folklore. In 1937, the artist moved to Paris and came into contact with the artists of the School of Paris. In the 1950s, he had his first successes during exhibitions in Parisian galleries. Fascinated by movement, color and light, he develops an innovative form of expression in his kinetic art works. He also works in sculpture, ceramics, collage, mural painting. In 1961, the Charpentier gallery in Paris organized his retrospective and in 1976 he exhibited at the Salon d'Automne. His works are mainly found in private collections.
