Beautiful patina for this large Taznakht kilim, from the High Atlas in Morocco.
And low price! From the 60s-70s and in very good condition, this style of kilim is woven by Berber women and dyed with madder called madder of the dyers.
They are then embroidered with ethnic motifs scattered on the field. Berber women take months to create these exceptional pieces.
They tell with wool their stories, daily inspirations, maternity, family, village, love, nature.......
