Very beautiful pastel by the Hungarian artist Emile LAHNER (1893-1980). The work measures 31.5 x 39 cm; it is signed lower right and dated 1924. It was therefore executed when the artist arrived in Paris, a pupil of Janos VASZARY at the Budapest School of Fine Arts from 1921 then of Antoine BOURDELLE in Paris from 1924.
