"Pair Of Bulul - Philippines"
Couple of Bulul ancestors, deities whose circle of influence is rice. They are squatting, arms crossed and hands on their knees, in a characteristic position. The two characters have the same characteristics: same position, same wise expression of the face turned towards the ground, their ears are pierced and a small puff of animal hair, in the shape of a circle, arranged on the top of the skull. The sexes are apparent. Only the male figure is pierced between the legs.
"These deities have a protective and beneficial power. Placed in the granary, they are associated with the production of abundant harvests, able to miraculously increase the rice before and after it is stored in the granary. They are generally inherited by the first child of the family, with the associated rice fields."
