"Modernist Art Deco Desk Circa 1930-40"
Important flat desk from the Art Deco period around 1930-40 with a Modernist shape with a rosewood veneer structure opening with a frieze drawer and a side door revealing horizontal storage compartments, the hemispherical top is supported by a Cubist style base composed of a quadrangular side upright and a box with a rounded front resting on a pear-shaped plinth highlighted with a gilded bronze angle iron. Good general condition, dimensions: 1 m 62 long (visitor side) 1 m 27 (work plan side) X 75 cm high X 72 cm deep / Leg opening: 62 cm high X 62 cm wide.
