"Small Commode Regency Period Stamped Carel"
Slightly curved in front, rounded uprights with triple brass grooves, rosewood veneer inlaid in leaves, opens with four drawers in three rows, royal red marble with accident. Jacques-Philippe Carel 1688/1755 master in 1723 worked for the royal furniture guard he delivered furniture for Versailles and for the Pompadour, he worked with Thomas Hache in Grenoble before settling in Paris
