Sideboard at support height in Cuban mahogany, Louis XV style and Napoleon III period. It opens with 2 curtain doors which reveal an interior with 8 drawers and 2 shelves. The drawers have the particularity of having their openwork bottoms with arabesque decorations for certainly better ventilation (for the preservation of documents.) It is topped with a white Carrara marble top set with a gilded bronze gallery . Beautiful trim of finely chiseled gilded bronzes (Clogs on the 4 feet, high and low falls, keyholes and lamp base) Parisian work from the Faubourg Saint Antoine from the Napoleon III period.
