"Important Portico Clock From The Louis XVI Period With Wedgwood Decoration"
Large portico clock from the Louis XVI period in white marble, gilt bronze and Wedgwood style blue earthenware. The two terminals are decorated with chiseled and gilded bronze motifs representing griffins, acanthus leaves, rosettes and vases overflowing with goat-footed flowers as well as blue porcelain medallions with white decoration in the style of the Wedgwood factory with scenes representing two women draped in the antique with a dog for one and a bird for the other.
Condition Report : In good condition. Minor restoration to the dial. The movement has been cleaned, serviced and is in working order.
