DRIES VAN DEN BROECK Dries Van Den Broeck is a Belgian artist born in 1923 in Vorselaar and died in 1995 in Kessel. He was a painter, draftsman and engraver. In 1939 student at Sint-Lucas in Ghent under the direction of V. Beulens, M. Tillet, G. Hermans and M. Deloore, in 1942 training at the Academy of Antwerp under the direction of R. Van Cauwenberghe, in 1943 at the Higher Institute of Antwerp under the direction of Is. Opsomer. Left for Morocco in 1949 for several years.
