"Bouquet Of Flowers Paul-henry Lafon"
Very pretty bouquet of flowers by the painter Paul Henry Lafon (XIX-XX) from his gallery in Quiberon, purchased in August 1967. Oil on isorel (17x23 cm) The frame is in poor condition, dimensions: 24 x 30 cm. Born in Périgueux, student of the School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux, he made his debut in the society of Girondin artists at the 1909 salon. He also participated in the Salon d'Automne in Bordeaux, exhibited at the Jean Charpentier gallery in January 1928, at the Bon Marché art gallery in May 1930. He was also a member of the Society of French Watercolourists. He moved to Quiberon and opened a gallery there. We owe him many views of Brittany.
