17th or 18th century Stunning and large fine carved wood corner chariot panel representing deity Yali or Narasimha

Provenance South India, regions of Kerala or Tamil Nadu ?
The wood is very dry, dense and heavy and depicts a dragon with bulging eyes. A long vegetal vine comes out of its mouth.

Good condition. It should be noted that these decorative elements of processional floats were obviously originally painted and colored.
