Beautiful solid silver timpani, with rotating decoration of vine leaves, edging, flowers and cartouche, on amati background, flared shape with flat bottom. It bears the stamp of the goldsmith Pierre Gavard (1836-1895) active in Paris from 1886 to 1895, hallmarked Minerva 1st title. 950 thousandths. Very good general condition, to report some micro-scratches. Beautiful piece of goldsmithery. Weight: 76gr of solid silver.
