Oil on Canvas, Portrait of a young woman from a good family ELINA CHABRIER Signed upper right LESPINASSE 1907 Surely a special order painted by Theodore Lespinasse painter and musician born in 1846 in Dieulefit (Drôme), died in 1918. He is the pupil of Louis Guy and Rapin. He exhibited his landscapes in Lyon (from 1885) and at the Salon of French Artists in Paris. BARBIZON frame in wood and gilded stucco Table size: 50.5 x 61.5 cm Frame size: 77.5 x 66.5 cm Good general condition, has undergone an old restoration on canvas. (see photos).
