Beautiful wax seal, mushroom-shaped boxwood handle, superbly engraved oval brass base on centre of a fruit palm, on which rises a snake, forming a large caduceus, and the names: Capelle, Pharmacist in St Maximin.
Beautiful seal from Directoire period or perhaps 1st Empire.
Dimensions: 9cm x 4cm, seal: 2cm x 1.6cm.
Condition: good, no flaws, no obvious wear, seal to be refit. Take a good look at our photos.....
