"Pair Of Monumental Chandeliers, In Brass, Late XIX Eme"
The spectacular nature of these two chandeliers is marked by their imposing size. The fact remains that they retain an airy, light line, thanks to the subtle assemblies of the brass parts of which the chandeliers are entirely made up. The overall line is pear-shaped and punctuated with delicate joints finely worked. The organic character, with somewhat feminine curves, casts doubt on the provenance of these two monumental pieces, yet it is indisputable that they enlightened the faithful of a church... This pair of chandeliers designed at the end of the XIX th century under the influence of the emerging movement of Art Nouveau, will have its place in a large and high room. Whether it is a contemporary interior, or an older architecture, these are rare interior decoration elements, not to say unique. Each chandelier has 6 white polished glass tulips, the set is no longer electrified, and the low globes are missing.
