"Large Wood Panel Irian Jaya Asmat Oceania"
I offer you this superb large carved Asmat board, with animal motifs, a snake, 2 spade heads and 2 characters facing each other at the top. Height 120cm by 60cm wide approximately, probably intended for shamanic use of premonitory visions under psychotropic, in hard wood not bark like some shields. Comes from the collection of Nina Wolmark, famous creator in the 80s of animated series (Rahan, Ulysses 31 ...).
