This sculpture represents Cupid, the god of love (Eros in Greek mythology). It is called "Voilà le Plaisir Mesdames!", the title of a review in four acts from 1852. Cupid is represented as a vigorous and smiling boy holding a mysterious object in his hand. Patinated bronze. France, 2nd half of the 19th century. Signature to be identified.
