These superb oak panels are carved with low-relief ornamentation typical of the Renaissance : foliages and rincels alongside a candelabra. Inside a laurel wreath, small heads in a different wood are facing each other : on one side, the head of an helmeted warrior, on the other, that of an african or mooresque man.
Originally part of a piece of furniture, or dismantled woodwork, maybe choir-stalls.
Some lacks. A long vertical split on one panel.
