"Elegant Louis XVI Half-moon Console In Golden Wood Marble Top"
Elegant Louis XVI half-moon console in gilded wood resting on two fluted spindle legs connected by a crosspiece surmounted by a fire pot with wide handles "à la Grecque" and garlands of flowers. The belt is decorated with carved and openwork laurel leaves. The assemblies of the feet are decorated with falls of garlands of sculpted and gilded flowers. A central fall of flower garland Also adorns the middle of the belt. A rosette decorates the assembly dices .The whole is topped with a gray breccia marble with a hollow edge and rests on small spinning top feet. Nice work from the end of the 18th ,early XIXe century.
