"Iznik Style Pitcher, Samson? Nineteenth Century"
A pitcher in the style of Turkish Renaissance Iznik pottery. Decorated with beautiful floral designs including, among others, tulip flowers. The slender handle and openwork design complete the beauty of the pitcher. Glazed ceramic, hand painted. Samson, France? 19th century. Signature on the underside. Height 29 cm, width 20 cm, depth 14 cm. State of preservation as seen in the photographs, quite good, although the spout is glued, with damage also visible at the level of the tap hole.
