BIOGRAPHY
Jean Louis Joseph Verdier born in 1849 is a landscape painter. Pupil of his father and Charles Gleyre, he started at the Paris Salon in 1869.
His landscapes, especially his forest scenes are tinged with a certain melancholy.
He died by suicide in 1895.
