"Tête d'homme en calcaire polychromé, seconde moitié du XVe siècle"
Head of a man in polychromed limestone, fifteenth century

Beautiful head of a young man, probably a saint monk or deacon in painted limestone. It may be Saint Stephen. The top of the head bears a small tonsure.
Very good state of conservation; the work has no apparent restoration, including the nose.
Remains of painting in several layers, the oldest perhaps dating back to the creation of the work. Around 1450
Some accidents. Inclusion of flint in the hair.
