Classic in appearance, this large Canton porcelain vase is of a rare quality of decoration and finesse of execution. For example the hinds made of gold, the presence of small Chinese dogs and the many butterflies and birds on the magnificent border with a green and gold background surrounding the cartouches. An old restoration on the neck and a star on the bottom (visible on photos). Ideal for making a beautiful lamp base.
