"Early 19th Century Curved Snuff Box. "
A rectangular snuff box with rounded corners. The box is lightly curved, allowing it to fit comfortably into a pocket. The box is entirely covered with intricately sculpted geometric patterns. Each panel of the box is framed in a frieze of rinceau on a matte gold background. The body and the sides of the box continues the geometric motif. The box has an initial finely engraved in an oval medallion. Restauration period.
