19th Century, Pair of Italian Louis XV style Lacquered Woos Consoles

This small pair of consoles was made in the early nineteenth century in Venice in carved, lacquered and gilded wood. The top, with a wavy and shaped profile, is in marble. The consoles are in Louis XV style and feature the characteristic elements of the time. On the front and on the sides, the underplane band, moved and mixed, has a gilded decoration carved with volute motifs and phytomorphic elements of Rocaille taste. The four legs, also moved and curved, are highlighted and illuminated by a golden reserve that ends in the foot with a small curl.
These consoles, while having a rich and ornate line, appear well balanced resulting light, decorative and very pleasant.
In the important baroque Italian palaces, the consoles were among the most sought-after furnishings, emblem of the wealth of the client, to show off in the large halls of representation. This type of furniture, highly decorative, is still of great scenic effect and contributes to the majesty of each of your environment that houses it.
Their small size, marble top, clear lacquer and gold shine make the consoles perfect to be placed in an entrance hall, living room or living room, combined with both antique and modern furniture.
