"Small Model Of Cash Register In Chased Bronze, "
Remarkable small cash register from the American company "National Cash Register", a company which marketed this type of item for the first time in 1884. This model 312, manufactured and sold at the beginning of the 20th century, and used in France as indicated by the sign “Caisse” in the upper part, presents a display under glass comprising 14 double-sided price tags, thus visible to both the customer and the salesperson. The corresponding keys allow them to be lifted, and their use causes the emission of an authentic sound chime. This magnificent gilded bronze object is chiselled with ornamentation: beaded friezes, garlands and windings embellish it on all sides. A white marble shelf is affixed above the cash drawer, which has 6 compartments dedicated to the storage of coins and banknotes. The set rests on a wooden base. Witness to another time, this small cash register will charm you with its vintage style and the delicacy of its refined decorations.
