"Khmer Bas-relief – Cambodia"
Bas-relief sculpted of a dancer, her chest is bare and dressed in a loincloth or a skirt. This woman is wearing the traditional Khmer bun. The trained eye will recognize the dance performed by the female figure as well as the position of her hands and feet, typical of Khmer or Cambodian compositions. Very beautiful patina emphasizing the age of this artefact marked by erosion.
