Frédérique SCHELBACH was born into a family environment very focused on arts and culture. During her travels, she had the opportunity to visit many museums, and one day, the desire to paint invaded her and never left her. Initially self-taught, she attended the studio of Fernand Dantan (1913-2005), professor at the Beaux-Arts in Clermont-Ferrand, as well as a recognized painter in Auvergne. He didn't care about the detail. It helped to develop the artist's spontaneity. She has also participated in numerous personal or associative exhibitions.
