Surprising and imposing old carnival mask, circa 1930.
Popular fairground art made entirely of plaster, original polychromy.
Light bulbs at eye level were powered by a small battery box.
This box is no longer functional, a more modern box for 4 conventional batteries has been used, and can easily be removed to put a small transformer.
Good state of preservation for a piece of this kind.
Slightly soiled, patina of time preserved and protected by a veil of wax.
Very atypical and very decorative piece.
Dimensions
60cm high, 58cm wide and 58cm deep.
