Stained glass window painted in grisaille, with enamels released with acid and silver yellow on smooth glass in the Renaissance spirit, needlework in the parts in grisaille. Red net on the edge. The stained glass window presents two characters: a standard bearer on the left and a halberdier on the right, in the center a coat of arms showing a double-headed eagle on a blue background. In the upper part, a landscape and an interior scene are represented. The flag features a bear on a white background and mentions the letters V and R (= US, for Usser Rhoden, canton of Appenzell Outer Rhodes, the separation of the canton is dated 1597).
