Object description :

"Naive And Cute Child Portrait, Signed, 1806"
Superb miniature of little child holding a bird in his hand, open face with curious eyes, small smirk. Beautiful blue background: the sky of a garden arbor that surrounds the small face of greenery. Signed on stone entablature right: Grisot 1806. The painter, unknown in documentation, worked with love, thank you!
Condition: crush: I bought this miniature without frame, face, neck and arms stained, chipped blue background. There are still stains on the little girl's flesh, but overall condition is now quite good. I added this glass and brass trim from my inventory for my future customer.
Dimensions: D= 6cm. With frame: 8cm.
No export outside the European Union, sorry.
