Design (chairs): Mart Stam, 1927/28 , also sometimes attributed to Marcel Breuer.
Manufacturer: probably Thonet, production under license by Robert Slezak, CZ, 1930s.
The table is made of oak and tubular steel. It has a rectangular top top with curved edges and, below, an intermediate table that rests inside the legs. The chairs are made of beech plywood and polished steel tubing. They offer very good seating comfort. The set has been completely restored. The old rusty galvanization has been removed and the metal parts have been polished. The wooden parts have been re-lacquered in several layers of PU and polished to a high gloss.
