Subject In Bronze Okimono Nineteenth Sailors Riding A Fish
Here is a subject more than funny, close to a Japanese subject of course. Sailors ride a fish. It is probably a French work of fine craftsmanship, to be placed towards the end of the 19th century. All with a chocolate patina with several nuances. The general condition is good, note friction and micro-scratches from use, patina wear on the extremities and the bottom.
