Very beautiful work by the Filipino artist Pedro AMORSOLO (1926-). It is a Pastel signed lower left and measuring 60 x 45 cm (89 x 66 cm with its frame). At the bottom left, also, handwritten indications, perhaps the location and identity of the model. Pedro AMORSOLO was born on October 21, 1926 in the district of SAMPALOC in MANILA. He is the nephew of the famous Filipino artist Fernando AMORSOLO. He was mainly active in the 50s and 60s. The work is practically fresh in color; there are stains on the passe-partout.
