"Mahogany Showcase Trolley - Late Nineteenth"
Serving cabinet in mahogany and mahogany veneer with a showcase in the upper part and blackened wood moldings. This set is composed of two removable elements. In the lower part there are two drawers in the belt closing with a lock and central key pulling with a bowl button. Below, two rectangular doors with original brass lock in working order, reveal an adjustable shelf on rack. The fronts of the doors in mahogany and vertical grain mahogany veneer present in relief a molded frame in blackened wood with top and bottom in basket handles and concave angles. This low unit rests on two gadrooned turned front legs and rectangular rear legs. The whole resting on a base with plinth positioned on turned slab feet. Around we will notice a molding in black varnish. The top of this base unit in mahogany wire also has in its entourage a molding with throat and beak of corbin in black varnish. Set back on the lengths and the depth we find a decorated set composed of a part with a glass door accompanied by identical molding at the bottom resting on two solid mahogany balusters. Note the presence of an adjustable shelf on racks. On each side of the window we find a shelf in the rear part and a large console that blends with a spiral blackened wooden molding. At the top of this window, a removable pediment decorated with scrolls and a crown of fruit. The back of this piece of furniture is made of oak.
