"A Pair Of Venetian Giltwood Armchairs, Mid 18th Century"
A pair of Venetian giltwood armchairs, mid 18th century Two armchairs accented with giltwood on a cream ground The rear crosspiece centered with a giltwood shell and foliate motifs with scrolled armrests, above a serpentine seat there is a centered frieze of a shell, on arched legs and scrolled feet, upholstered in a pastel sky blue fabric. There are a few cracks on the wood (left leg), some loss of gilding, but overall in good condition showing normal signs of age. (Please see image) 112cm high 64cm widest part of seat. 39 cm length of the armrests
