Our piece of furniture flanked on two sides by two caryatids strongly reminds us of those made by Gouthière for the lady's office in Marie-Antoinette's cabinet at the Château de Saint-Cloud.
Original gilding burnished with agate stone.
Sublime work of marquetry in the shape of diamonds on both sides.
Marquetry of very precious woods such as amaranth, lemon tree etc.
