Object description :

"A Rare Gothic Single-handle Mortar, Alpine, Attributed To Austria, 15th Century."

Cast bronze with multicolored patina. Squat and tapering in shape on a slightly stepped base, with circular motifs. The single handle attached to the body with three spans. Small superficial bumps, with a small hole. An area of the lower part slightly deformed due to use, with minor cracks. Alpine, attributed to Austria, 15th century.
