The pear-shaped body, assembled by crenellated brass brazing, rests on 3 arched feet. Hinged lid, domiform, covered with a star in relief. The side socket on a cut and riveted plate is extended by a turned wooden handle. Delicate and profuse engraved, chiselled and trembling decoration of denticulated friezes, garlands, scales, fleur-de-lysed reserves, arcades, palm leaves. Shield adorned with feathered arrows, surmounted by a plumed helmet, topped with a bird with outstretched wings. Height: 23.5cm. 18th century. Very good condition.
