"19th Century Delft Earthenware Pharmacy Pot"
Superb and large early 19th century pharmacy jar in Delft earthenware. It rests on a molded shower foot surmounted by a pomegranate-shaped upper part with a flared neck surmounted by a hat with an apple. It includes on each side 2 handles simulating snakes and the whole is decorated with a garland of flowers in blue tones. In the center is indicated "Ex: Lupuli" for hop extract. This large pot is very decorative and in very good condition.
