"Large "
Large earthenware platter particularly characteristic of "embroidery" beaded and cased decorations with large gold highlights and classic ocher and white shades. This decor was developed by Pierre Poquet, workshop foreman at the pottery factory in Quimper. Brand: HB QUIMPER °° (period 1950/60) diameter: 38 cm Good condition. No cracks, no hair, no chips, no chips. Sounds very clear on hit. Guaranteed unrestored. Authenticity guaranteed. I note: Photo N°4 shows a shrinkage of enamel during cooking and not a shine. Still too little known, the production of earthenware with cased "Embroidery" decorations and beaded decorations mainly comes from the workshop of Pierre Poquet (1900-1973). “Embroidery” decor, in reference to Bigouden embroideries. For the technique we call it beaded or well cased (enamel applied with a pear extended by a small tube to make the dots in relief).
