"Miniature Virgin And Child"
Spanish school, miniature painting on copper: the Virgin dressed in a starry mantle holds in her arms the child who wears a pink and gold tunic and mantle. Representation to be compared to the portrait by St Luke - Salus populi Romani - Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome). On the back is another representation of the Virgin and Child in less good condition. Later gilded wooden frame (19th century)
